Bradley T. Durvin
Brad attended Vancouver Island University for his undergraduate studies, first completing a Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology Diploma in 2008 and then completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree (with distinction) with double minors in history and political science in 2010.
Next he went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2014. Brad completed his articles with Fabris McIver Hornquist & Radcliffe and was called to the bar in May of 2015. Since that time has been a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.
Brad’s practice is focused on litigation, and his particular areas of practice include: personal injury and ICBC claims, estate matters, commercial disputes, collections matters, compromised real estate transactions, trespass and property damage claims, and general civil litigation matters. Brad has represented clients in the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court and the Provincial Court (Small Claims Division) of British Columbia, and also resolves cases using out of court processes such as negotiation and mediation.
Brad prides himself on his attention to detail and clear communication style, and works with his clients to always ensure they understand their legal rights and options at all stages of a case. No matter what strategy is best for any individual case, Brad always strives to resolve a dispute in the most economical fashion possible while serving the best interests of his clients.
Brad was born and raised in Nanaimo and enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle, especially fishing and hunting around Vancouver Island. Brad is pleased to have returned home to Nanaimo to practice law and serve the needs of his local community.
