Rick graduated from the University of British Columbia from the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce in May of 1982.

Subsequently, he obtained a Bachelor of Laws from the Faculty of Law at the University of British Columbia in May of 1983. Following articles with Saunders Fabris & Murphy, in Nanaimo, Rick was called to the bar in May of 1984 and since that time has been and continues to be a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.

Rick has been a resident of Nanaimo since 1983 and was born and raised in Port Alberni, BC. He has practiced with Fabris McIver Hornquist & Radcliffe and its predecessor firm since his call to the bar, and his principal areas of practice include personal injury and insurance litigation, estate litigation and construction litigation.

Rick’s interests include golfing, fishing, boating and travel.
